Hi! My name is Anna. By day, I’m an engineer at Apple on the Vision Pro team, and by night, I’m a hacker and painter using emerging tech like AR/VR and brain interfaces to give people new ways to create, connect and play. After years of living in community houses, I've spent the summer working toward starting my own—and now, my friends (and fellow community builders) Athena, Liz, Rajan and I are making it happen!
We're calling it Mosaic, and envisioning it as a new kind of coliving house / coworking space at the intersection of art, tech, HCI and neuroscience (with a focus on bridging the Hayes Valley computing renaissance with SF's other vibrant neighborhood cultures). The property is 639 Steiner, a dreamy, art-filled Victorian on Alamo Square.
We're looking for 2-4 more housemates to join us starting 9/9 or later; the interest form is here!
We'll be reaching out to folks on a first-come, first-served basis, so the sooner you can submit the form, the better. But first, let me show you around our new dream house (or mojo dojo casa house, if you will):

It's gonna be a hoot and a half! But you're probably wondering…
Techies in our early to late twenties (though you don't have to be!), lots of immigrants and peeps who've lived abroad, art makers/appreciators, moonlighting (if not…sunlighting?) on passion projects, nerdy (but down with a little woo for fun), lots of community organizing experience. Mostly friends I've known for years, some of whom I've already lived with!
We value playfulness alongside maturity, ambition alongside deep integrity, and big dreams alongside dive-in-the-weeds chutzpah 🌱
